Innovation is the vital new paradigm for any industry today. It takes sophisticated strategic thinking to determine what is core and what is context. Magic understands this well.

Our experience honed over ten years in designing and developing eLearning products is shared with our partners, to sustain their competitive advantage and allow them to redploy their assets and resources to their core competencies.

We contribute mission critical R&D that adds to the immense innovative value of the final product. After arriving at a shared understanding of partner expectations, Magic will leverage its knowledge and experience to contribute R&D to the product development, keeping in mind changing global scenarios and ‘fresh’ technologies, yet all the while never letting you lose control over the design.

Magic’s experienced research teams of engineers collaborate with our partners to develop futuristic products using next-generation technologies, While enterprises concentrate on proprietary architecture and key performance specifications, Magic builds the prototype, translates it into workable designs, and then tests and upgrades it. Our goal is to create special, differentiated ‘out of the box’ experiences for each of our partners.

In the quest for innovation, MagicLabs, the R&D team at Magic, has developed a series of Apps for the iPhone and iPad, using the latest technologies and Magic’s proprietary eBook development platform for iOS devices - Asterix.

The latest in the series of Apps for the iPad is The Mahabharata – a very popular Indian epic, now available on the App Store.

The current App recreates the magic of the epic through 16 stories that come alive with beautiful hand-painted animations and an original music score.

The interesting aspect of the Mahabharata App is that the product has incorporated the inApp functionality. This is similar to the App process followed for books, comics and magazines. The inbuilt functionality gives the user the ability to purchase any of the other stories from within the shell, which is a free download from the App Store.

For the Mahabharata App, the first and thirteenth stories are also free to download within the shell.

An earlier App – The Bhagvada Gita – topped the iTunes chart in the Education section and the New and Newsworthy section. Created with a rich user experience, the App can be launched from the home page. One can delve into a particular section while viewing the contents; enjoy the original music score at the flick of the audio button and browse through the various themes using the navigation slider to move back and forth between pages. A glossary explains unfamiliar terms and characters that were relevant to the time and period.

All in all a visual and audio experience not to be missed! This can be downloaded from the App Store too.

Magic’s first App for the iPhone, was a sliver from one of Magic's own products - Yoga and Meditation and titled, The Magic of Yoga: Sun Salutation.

It can be used to discover the magic of yoga with, the Sun Salutation. This App illustrates the 12 postures of the Sun Salutation or Surya Namaskar, using a sequence of photographs and video. An easy to use interface enables learning the postures at one’s own pace. The application also provides a flip screen with description for each posture, specifying the correct technique and the Do’s and Don’ts. A video demonstrates the complete sequence at the tap of a finger. Designed to help achieve a healthy lifestyle in today’s fast paced life, the application is the ultimate stress buster. This application can be downloaded at the App store.
